FAQs
When are the meetings?
The meeting schedule can be found here. If you are a member, the meeting schedule is updated weekly with speakers here.
What is the support meeting format?
All meetings are an hour long. They start with a statement of purpose, an opening reading, a speaker, time for participant shares, and a closing reading.
Newcomer meetings are welcome to anyone, but the topics, speakers, and share time are focused on newcomers (those in their first year of sobriety).
Is TLC invested in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging?
A DEIB initiative is imperative in a sobriety support community because it can help to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all members. By promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, DEIB initiatives can help to ensure that all members feel comfortable and supported on their sobriety journey.
There are many reasons why a DEIB initiative is important in a sobriety support community. First, it can help to reduce stigma and discrimination. People who are struggling with addiction are often stigmatized and discriminated against, which can make it difficult for them to seek help. A DEIB initiative can help to create a more welcoming and supportive environment for people who are struggling with addiction, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other identities.
Second, a DEIB initiative can help to increase access to resources and support.
Third, a DEIB initiative can help to promote recovery and healing. A DEIB initiative can help to create a space where people can feel safe and supported as they work on their recovery.
Finally, a DEIB initiative can help to build a stronger community. A DEIB initiative can help to build a community that is welcoming and supportive of all members, regardless of their background or identity.
Do I have to speak or show my face in meetings?
Never! Sharing is always optional, as is showing your face.

What's the deal with the raven?
Vernon is the beloved TLC mascot. Like any true raven, he bears a long, mysterious history of mythology and prophecy. Some say he's a messenger of darkness and death, but that doesn't scare us. In fact, that's why we keep him around. We know big transformation requires a trek into the dark and we take comfort in Vernon's keen eyesight and superior intelligence, not to mention his dry-as-a-bone sense of humor.
Vernon's stardom spiked when he and his family were cast into leading roles on GoT. After all those years of Hollywood stardom, Vernon far prefers the more humble life overseeing the magnificent monsters of TLC. In his free time, you can find him learning TikTok dances and playing the keyboard in his all-raven band, A Kindness Not A Murder. Vernon is on your side.
How do I keep updated with TLC?
When you sign up as a TLC member, you will start getting a weekly newsletter with TLC announcements, updates, and information. We also put announcements and inspiration on Instagram at @theluckiestclub.
Can I gift a membership to someone?
Yes! Simply register using their name and email. If you'd like the gifted membership to expire after a certain period of time (3 months, 1 year, etc.) simply email support@theluckiestclub.com and we'll make sure to arrange that!
